Dr. Mausumi Goswami (Principal Investigator)
Mausumi is a Physical Chemist trained in high-resolution molecular spectroscopy, Chemical reaction dynamics, and Instrumentation. Long term goal of her research work is to contribute to solving fundamental problems in areas of atmospheric and interstellar chemistry. She uses both experimental and computational approaches to solve the problem at hand.
Gowtham Babu (Ph.D. Student, Joined March 2021)
Gowtham was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2018 and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in 2020. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemistry. His research interest includes Atmospheric, Interstellar, Physical, and Computational Chemistry. His hobbies are motorcycling, playing football, camping, and listening to music & podcasts.

Jeena J. Panakkal (Ph.D. Student, Joined August 2022)
Jeena is from Thrissur, Kerala, India. She completed her B.Sc.Chemistry in 2015 from Little Flower College, Guruvayoor, and M.Sc. Chemistry in 2017 from Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur. She also worked as a teacher in Kerala. Her research interests include Biophysical, Atmospheric and Spectroscopy. Her hobbies are Reading, Drawing, Embroidery, watching films, and numismatics.
Syed Ibrahim J (Ph.D. Student, Joined August 2022)
Syed was born in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu in Sivakasi. In 2020, he graduated from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University, with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, and in 2022, he graduated with a Master's Degree in Photonics & Biophotonics from the National Centre for Ultrafast Processes, University of Madras. His research interests are atmospheric, interstellar, Biophysical Chemistry and Spectroscopy. His hobbies are writing Poetry, Blogging, and Journaling.

Suphal Sen (Ph.D. Student, Joined August 2022)
Suphal is from Bardhaman, West Bengal, India. He completed his B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry in 2020 from St. Paul’s C.M. College, University of Calcutta and M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar in 2022. Upon completion of his M.Sc., he joined as a Ph.D. Student under the supervision of Dr. Mausumi Goswami at VIT, Vellore.
